Some experimentation today with a few ideas for the East Cliff Creatives zines project. Fishi-Fishy is a little narrative across 6 sheets; a series of collages working with images of scabbard fish, originally photographed at the Funchal Market Hall, Madeira. The single A4 sheet with double-sided printing can be folded into an A6 sized mini-book format, with an open-out central poster image. #eastcliffcreatives #zines

Dover Art Network
The DOVER ART NETWORK is a virtual walk through eight ideas from seven artists based in Dover.
About the project: “The Dover Art Network is an online exhibition of ideas from artists in Dover commissioned in response to the COVID-19 lockdown.”
“The Dover Art Network resource exists for visitors to explore the work of artists visualised in locations around Dover. It provides artists with an opportunity to explore and develop ideas for sculpture beyond physical limits, to push the boundaries of contextualising art in the public space, and to exhibit collectively across boundaries.”
We encourage everyone to explore the work and ideas of local artists as they respond to our town:
DSC artists show at Brew
Three Dover Studio Collective artists are showing work at coffee shop Brew in Folkestone over a period of two weeks starting from this week. Clare Smith, Deborah Colam and Mike Tedder display selected prints, collage and cyanotypes in this beautiful gallery space. Pop in for a coffee and take a look.

Geometric Forms
Three experiments from yesterday’s zoom drawing club meet up: initially cutting-out freehand objects and the re-positioning of geometric forms. Fluid layouts encouraged subsequent reassessments, with explorations of shape and negative space floating upon a mid-grey paper (Clairefontaine Gris). Finally with a spray of adhesive the position of elements within the paper collages was fixed.

Dover Open Studio
Dover Studio Collective artists welcome virtual visitors to their Open Studios this May. Due to necessary pandemic safety restrictions, we are presenting our event in an online format this year. Dover Printfest 2020 is a partnership project involving Future Foundry, Dover Studio Collective and Dover Arts Development and is part of the French printmaking festival Fete De L’Estampe.
Please also follow our Instagram page @doverstudio to discover a diverse range of work, from linocuts to mono prints, solar plate etchings to lumen prints.

More images will be added in the following weeks, but if there is a particular artwork you would like to purchase in print, canvas format or framed that is not shown in the selection, please send me a message so that it can be added to the catalogue for you.
Below are just a few examples of the wide range of products that are offered by the printer.
